Nathan is the leader and organizer of the Hyper Support Group, the one who originally got Aaron and John together and eventally introduced Devon and Gabriel to the group. Considering that his endowment is huge even for a hyper and that he grew up in a small town where the only other hyper was the female librarian, it was a given that he wanted to meet other hyper men to, if nothing else, commiserate and help each other in times of need.
